I have been contacted by Martin to make Search Engine Optimization on his site. After initial review, I saw that this Accounting Services website had a lot of SEO in place, but some of the basic things were broken.
New WordPress website had URLs different from original website (made with custom PHP). But the most problematic thing that it had some badly written links. All the navigation was hard coded in the files, not accessibe for any updates. And the language switching was broken.
Eventually, all these problems were fixed or patcehd and website was published. And later, the whole template was reworked to obtain proper navigation, updated design, and made responsive. Now, Martin’s Accounting Services website is mobile friendly, SEO optimized and does use WordpPress properly.
